About The Awards

For the first time, the HSE is delivering a range of unique awards, collectively known as the HSE Achievement Awards. These are; Better Service Awards; Better Place to Work Awards and Quality and Safety Awards. These are being launched in four areas to HSE staff around the country in June and July and Expressions of interest are invited by 18th July 2007. the awards incorporate the former award schemes; HSE Innovation Awards and HSE Quality and Safety Awards.

Area Awards 2007
The HSE achievement awards are being run on an area basis. Each area – HSE West, HSE South, HSE Dublin Mid Leinster and Dublin North East – will invite expressions of interest from their area for their awards. An independent area judging panel will assess the applications and four area awards ceremonies will take place by December 2007. In addition to presentation of awards at these events, a number of applicants (depending on numbers) will be invited to enter a poster or presentation competition.

National Event 2008
A national event will take place in early 2008, bringing together the best of the area awards.
